  • Engaged!

On the evening of September 14th Jack and I flew in to Spokane, WA and rented a car. After eating supper  at Zips, a burger and fish fast food, the food was delicious, and doing a little grocery shopping we went out to his grandpa's beautiful but primitive cabin by a lake. I was totally amazed at how good the fresh produce looked in WA, everything looked wonderfully fresh! On September 15 we drove up to the top of Mt. Spokane and had a picnic. After eating we went for a walk and on the way back we stopped and sat down on some rocks a little ways from the trail. After sitting there talking for awhile Jack hands me a photo album of pictures of us and things we did for the past 6 months and on the last page there was a picture of the mountain we were on and the date Sep 15. Then he asks "Hannah, will you marry me?" And I said "yes!".
We spent a week in  WA visiting with relatives, kayaking, driving around, shopping at White Elephant and the General Store, and just relaxing.
This is the only picture I have of the trip so far. I will upload more pictures later.

  • I have uploaded some pictures of my niece, Alexa Brooke. She was born about a month ago. I think she is adorably cute!
Not much else has been going on.

  • Well people keep on telling me I should update, and it has been awhile since I have so here goes an attempt at updating.
Well to start things off I am dating the most amazing guy ever! Most of you who will read this already know that I am dating though. His name is Jack. We've been dating since March 8th.

Then for Easter someone from my church asked me and another girl to draw something in front of everybody while the choir sang and some other people acted out a skit about Easter. I drew a picture of Jesus being nailed to a cross and Jessica, the other girl, drew an empty tomb. We had to do it in 45 minutes. This is what I looked like when I was done.   Yeah I know I am a mess. I uploaded some other pictues so you can look at them if you like.

  • I am soo loving being at home! Finally after 3 weeks of snow I can see the ground and the weather is warm! On the way home from Indiana I fell asleep when we were about in the middle of Illinois and when I woke up in Missouri everthing looked different for some reason and I couldn't figure it out. Finally it dawned on me the ground wasn't covered in snow. I said "Ooohhh that's what looks different! There isn't snow on the ground!" The guys look at me and say somthing like "You just now noticed that?"

I finally got to go to my church after 6 or 7 weeks of not being able to. It was totally awsome!

March 17th I am going on the Mexico mission trip to Juarez with my church again this year. We go to an orphanage and help them out. Like last year the guys were helping them build a building, and the us girls painted rooms. The kids there are so much fun, they'll talk your ear off even if you hardly understand a word they say. It doesn't really  seem to matter to them whether you understand what they are saying.
